Simple Tracking Script for Affiliate CPA Programs/Offers?

Know/have access to basic html. What is a good simple script for following links on my site to check which pages visitor landed on to complete offer/sign up?
Also is there anything simple to add to this basic script to make sure an affiliate site (the secondary site) registers the page visits or offer completions?
